Significant snowstorm coming for upper US the next couple days

Winter Storm O​live could be one of the heaviest snowstorms in years for parts of the upper Midwest, including Minneapolis-St. Paul, where the National Weather Service called it a “historic winter storm” for their area.

⚠️ Blizzard warnings have been posted by the National Weather Service in parts of seven states in the Rockies, Northern Plains, and upper Midwest.
These areas will see whiteout conditions, including strong winds and blowing snow.
Various winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories are also in effect from the Rockies into the upper Midwest, Great Lakes and Northeast.
I​ce storm warnings are in effect from eastern Iowa to southern Michigan where ice will make driving dangerous and could cause power outages.

🌨 Heavy snow will cover a large area from the Rockies and Northern Plains into the Great Lakes and parts of the Northeast.
Accumulating ice is also a concern for others from the Midwest to the Northeast.
Strong winds will combine with heavy snow to produce blizzard conditions in parts of the Northern Plains through early Thursday.
T​ravel could become extremely difficult, if not impossible, over areas from Wyoming into eastern North Dakota, eastsern South Dakota, western, central and southern Minnesota and into northern Wisconsin.
